On Saturday morning 15th January 2022, NAS Society for social Support participated in a workshop held by the Black Sea association in Istanbul, to discuss the humanitarian situation in Yemen and the priority of current needs. 15 Turkish associations interested in the humanitarian situation in Yemen and which implement activities and programs there participated in this workshop.
Meanawhile, Dr. Abdulwase al-Wasa’i, the Secretary-General of the Society, and Dr. Muhammad Bayachout, the Executive Director of the Society, participated by representing NAS Society for social Support.
It is worth noting that a number of Yemeni and Turkish associations operating in Turkey have started a campaign to collect humanitarian aid for the displaced, poor, and destitute people in due to the ongoing war.
According to the United Nations, more than 85% of the Yemeni people are in need of humanitarian aid.
