As part of its contribution to alleviating poverty of the Yemeni people and within the Turkish people’s interest in the humanitarian situation in Yemen, the Turkish Nas Society for Social Support implemented the food baskets project, which targeted orphans in the city of Taiz on 9/28/2020, from which about 300 individuals benefited.
It is worth noting that more than 75% of the Yemeni people live below the poverty line, according to the UN statistics, due to wars, displacement, and salary cuts for more than four years.
