The Turkish Nas Society for Social Support distributes school bags and uniforms in the city of Taiz to include 50 orphan students.
This project comes within the projects provided by Nas Society for Social Support to try to alleviate poverty and destitution for needy families and encourage them to return to school.
It should be noted that there are more than two million Yemeni children outside the educational process, and half a million children who have dropped out of education due to the war and poverty, while 3.7 million students are threatened with dropping out of education due to non-payment and suspension of teachers’ salaries for more than two years, according to UNICEF
