NAS delegation paid a visit to the World Doctors Association (Turkey)
Within the program of visits implemented by the Nas Association for Community Support, the President of the Nas Association for Community Support, Mr. Yahya Al-Daba, and the Secretary-General of the Nas Association, Dr. Abdulwasa Al-Wasei and the General Director of the Association d. Muhammad Mahfouz paid an official visit on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 to the World Doctors Association. The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Ozan Mutolu, Director General of the Turkish Earth PhysiciansAssociation, Mr. Safa Şemşek, Director of Programs and Projects for the Society, and Mr. Ahmed Fatih, Project Coordinator of the Association. During the meeting, a number of important matters were discussed, including the nutrition, maternity, and child health project currently implemented in Yemen since the beginning of January 2021, which will end next December. the project was implemented in three medical centers operating in the Yemeni governorate of Taiz. The possibility of extending the project for additional periods, and the possibility of supporting other medical centers in the same context, was discussed.
The expansion of work in other regions, including Africa, in health, development and relief works was also discussed. At the end of the meeting, the President of Nas Association thanked the great efforts made by the World Doctors Association in the humanitarian work it is doing to serve the needy and the affected in various countries of the world. He also wished the new director of the association, Mr. Ozan Mutolo, success in his humanitarian administrative tasks.
